On the morning of the same day, about 100 people attended the Communication Festival held in the auditorium on the second floor of the Gangha-myeon Multipurpose Welfare Center. Participants included Yang Jinseon, Governor of Yangpyeong County, Moon Myeongdeok, Head of Gangha-myeon, relevant department heads, heads of local institutions and organizations, and Gangha-myeon residents. Attendees looked back on Gangha-myeon's key achievements over the past year and took time to share the direction of county administration for 2026 and development plans for Gangha-myeon.
At the briefing session, the main plans for Gangha-myeon in 2026 were presented, including the creation of Gangha Park Golf Course, the construction of the new Gangha Bridge, efforts to alleviate traffic congestion and promote city gas supply to the Gangsa and Gangha areas through the construction of the Yanggeun Bridge on Local Road No. 98, and the expansion of water supply and sewerage infrastructure throughout Gangha-myeon. The mid- to long-term development direction for Gangha-myeon, the gateway to Yangpyeong, was also explained.
During the dialogue session with residents, several practical suggestions were raised, such as the inclusion of Gangha-myeon in the Yangpyeong County Filling Project, requests to attract the Environmental Education Ship dock, and support for education on aerial pest control and the use of agricultural drones. The heads of the relevant bureaus and departments responded directly on-site, continuing active communication with the residents.
Yang Jinseon, Governor of Yangpyeong County, stated, "I am grateful to all the residents who joined us for the future of Gangha-myeon despite your busy schedules," and added, "I will continue to actively reflect the voices from the field in county administration and do my best to ensure the sustainable development of Gangha-myeon."
