Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province is holding a performance exhibition at the Open Gallery on the 3rd floor of Yangju City Hall until the 16th to share the results of the pilot project for the Education Development Special Zone with its citizens.

This exhibition is part of the pilot project for the Education Development Special Zone and showcases the achievements of the integrated early childhood education curriculum and Yangju City’s specialized care program.

Under the theme "Learning Together Today, Growing Together in Yangju," the exhibition features works and activity results from preschool and elementary school students who participated in each program. The exhibition is open to all citizens free of charge.

The Yangju-style integrated early childhood education curriculum is a program that supports children so that learning becomes a part of their daily lives through regionally customized educational programs. Its goal is to create an educational environment where every child can grow from an equal starting point.

The exhibition brings together kindergartens and daycare centers, highlighting various achievements such as case studies of educational programs conducted using a variety of Yangju’s local resources and artworks created by young children.

The Yangju City specialized care program is an initiative aimed at realizing an "educational care" model, where learning is naturally integrated into the process of care.

This exhibition presents the works and activity results of children who participated in regionally tailored care programs, centered around the Okjeonghosu Elementary School Together Care Center, which serves as the care hub for the eastern region.

An official from Yangju City stated, "This exhibition embodies the direction and values of the Education Development Special Zone in each of the children’s small works. We plan to continue expanding opportunities to share the achievements of the special zone’s operations with our citizens. We will do our utmost to make Yangju City an ideal place for raising children, where care, education, and the local community are organically connected."
