On January 8, NBT, the leading point platform company in Korea, announced that its partnership-based commerce monetization model, “Link Commerce,” which was introduced as a new business, continues to experience explosive growth.
According to NBT, Link Commerce surpassed a monthly transaction volume of 60 billion KRW (approximately 600 billion won) in December alone, maintaining an average monthly growth rate of about 80% since its launch. Within just three months of launching the service, the cumulative transaction volume exceeded 120 billion KRW (approximately 1.2 trillion won).
The company cited several factors behind Link Commerce’s rapid growth: securing an early lead in the rapidly expanding affiliate marketing market, a strategy to expand its network of affiliate partners, and the advancement of its tracking technology. In particular, the recently introduced settlement system based on actual purchase data has enabled more accurate measurement of advertising effectiveness and transparent settlements, which has enhanced market credibility.
Leveraging its proprietary point platform infrastructure, a reward advertising network with 11 million monthly active users, and advanced adtech technology, NBT plans to further scale up Link Commerce’s transaction volume this year. As the company is currently negotiating concrete integrations with a variety of new partners, its influence in the market is expected to continue growing.
An NBT representative stated, “Link Commerce has now moved beyond the initial validation phase and entered a full-scale scaling up stage. As it has quickly established itself as a core business, we will leverage our expertise as the leading affiliate marketing company to maximize value and drive growth focused on profitability.”
