Gyeongju City has designated and is operating 43 “Good Price Stores” to ease the financial burden on citizens amid high inflation and to stabilize local prices, while actively providing support.

According to Gyeongju City on January 8, 2026, as of January 2026, the city is operating Good Price Stores across sectors closely related to daily life, including Korean, Chinese, and snack restaurants, as well as cafes, hair and beauty salons, laundries, and bathhouses.

These Good Price Stores offer relatively affordable dining options such as Korean set meals and gukbap in the 7,000 won range, noodle dishes priced between 4,000 and 5,000 won, and coffee for 1,000 to 2,000 won.

Additionally, citizens can benefit from reasonable prices in everyday services, such as bathhouses in the 3,000 to 4,000 won range, hair and beauty services from 7,000 to 10,000 won, and laundry services in the 7,000 won range.

The city encourages citizens to use Good Price Stores by attaching official signs and providing promotional support, while also conducting regular inspections to continuously monitor price maintenance and service quality.

An official from Gyeongju City stated, “The Good Price Store system not only reduces the cost of living for citizens but also supports small business owners who diligently maintain stable prices,” adding, “We will continue to implement price stabilization policies that citizens can truly feel.”
