Daejeon Listed Companies Reach Market Cap of 81.2 Trillion Won Last Year... 55% Growth in One Year

As of the end of December last year, the combined market capitalization of 66 listed companies in the Daejeon area reached 81.2282 trillion won.

This figure represents an increase of approximately 29 trillion won compared to 52.3055 trillion won at the end of 2024, marking an annual growth rate of 55%.

Daejeon Technopark evaluated 2025 as a year in which listed companies in Daejeon not only achieved external growth but also simultaneously strengthened their technological competitiveness. During this period, four new companies were newly listed, expanding the base of listed companies, while the increase in corporate value of existing listed companies was analyzed to have driven the overall rise in market capitalization.

In the KOSDAQ market, Alteogen maintained its top position among Daejeon companies with a market capitalization of 24.0508 trillion won, further solidifying the status of Daejeon-based firms.

In addition, several Daejeon companies, including ▲Rainbow Robotics (5th place, 9.1276 trillion won), ▲LIG ChemBio (8th place, 6.3592 trillion won), and ▲Peptron (9th place, 5.9226 trillion won), ranked within the top 10 in KOSDAQ market capitalization, demonstrating the competitiveness of Daejeon's advanced technology companies.

Furthermore, Axvis, a company specializing in intelligent high-power laser solutions, passed the preliminary KOSDAQ listing review in December and is raising expectations for its listing in the first half of 2026. This is being seen as a positive signal for both the increase in the number of listed companies in the Daejeon area and the enhancement of corporate value going forward.

Kim Wooyeon, President of Daejeon Technopark, stated, "Since 2026, the Year of the Red Horse, symbolizes passion and growth, I hope Daejeon's technology companies will take on the global market with even more dynamic energy. Through cooperation with Daejeon City, we will systematically discover and nurture potential listing candidates and continue to provide close-knit, region-based support for corporate growth."
