McDonald's Korea to Hold First Full-Time Recruitment of the Year... Open Hiring for Restaurant Management Positions

Final Candidates to Join as "Manager Trainee" in March

McDonald's Korea announced on January 8 that it will be accepting applications for its first regular full-time restaurant management positions of the year from January 12 to 25. The position being recruited is "Manager Trainee," responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including customer service, sales, quality, and human resources. Applicants can apply regardless of previous experience or major in the food service industry, and successful candidates will have the opportunity to systematically develop their skills through structured training and hands-on practice after joining the company.

The recruitment process consists of document screening, followed by a first-round interview, a second-round in-store practical assessment, and then the announcement of the final successful candidates. Applications will be accepted from January 12 to 25 through the official McDonald's recruitment website. Final candidates will join the company in March.

After joining, the final candidates will undergo four months of training and practical experience, after which they will have the opportunity to be promoted to assistant manager. Subsequently, they may advance to roles such as restaurant manager, overseeing overall store operations, or regional manager at headquarters. Depending on individual capabilities, it is also possible to transfer to various departments at headquarters, such as marketing, human resources, finance, or IT. In fact, two employees who started as manager trainees recently transferred to the marketing and IT departments at headquarters and are currently working there.
