Seven Blood Donation Buses Deployed Throughout the Base
in Cooperation with Gyeongnam Blood Center
Service Members Voluntarily Participate in Blood Donation Campaign
The Naval Education Command (hereinafter referred to as "the Naval Education Command") participated in the "Blood Donation Campaign of Love" for two days from January 7 to 8, 2026, to mark the New Year.
This blood donation campaign was organized to help address the shortage of blood supply during the winter season, contribute to building a Navy that wins together with the people, and promote the spirit of sharing love and life through blood donation.
The Naval Education Command worked in cooperation with the Gyeongnam Blood Center to deploy seven blood donation buses throughout the base, making it easier for service members to donate blood, and encouraged both service members and civilian employees to voluntarily participate in the campaign.
Colonel Park Ilsu, Commander of the Work Support Battalion, stated, "We joined the Blood Donation Campaign of Love at the start of the Byeongo Year with the hope that it would benefit the local community. I hope the collective love of our unit members will help patients in need of blood. We will continue to carry out blood donation campaigns to overcome the national blood supply crisis and to share the gift of life."
Meanwhile, the Naval Education Command regularly conducts the Blood Donation Campaign of Love every quarter, and the blood collected this time will be delivered to hospitals in the Gyeongnam region to be used for patients in need of transfusions.
