Running Event in Singapore, Large-Scale Fan Meeting in Indonesia
The Pinkfong Company announced on January 8 that it will officially launch its location-based entertainment (LBE) business in major Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia. The company plans to roll out performances, sports events, and interactive experiences tailored to the characteristics of each country.
In Thailand, the musical "Baby Shark Live: Hidden Treasure" will be presented for the first time locally at the Siam Pic Ganesha Theatre in Bangkok over three days starting January 9. The show, scheduled to coincide with Thailand's Children's Day week, will be held a total of six times.
In Singapore, the family-friendly running event "Baby Shark Run" will take place on January 17 at Marina Barrage National Park. Following last year's inaugural event, this second edition will feature 2km and 4km race courses as well as a character fan meeting.
In Indonesia, a large-scale fan meeting featuring five characters, including Pinkfong and Baby Shark, will be held at major shopping malls in Jakarta and Central Java. In partnership with Unilever, a campaign will also be conducted to promote Baby Shark oral care products.
A representative from The Pinkfong Company stated, "We aim to build a sustainable LBE business model across Southeast Asia by leveraging local partnerships and differentiated content tailored to each country's unique characteristics."
