Spear Achieves $100 Million in Annual Overseas Aerospace Orders for 2025

Spear Achieves $100 Million in Annual Overseas Aerospace Orders for 2025

Spear Corporation announced on January 8 that its cumulative order volume for last year reached 100 million dollars (approximately 144.6 billion won). This figure includes a new contract worth about 9.4 billion won that was disclosed on the last day of the year.

The company emphasized that this achievement is significant as it comprehensively reflects ongoing business relationships maintained throughout the year, rather than being a one-off result. Spear consistently secured stable contracts with global clients, building on trust and maintaining steady order performance despite uncertain external conditions.

Recently, global space launch companies have been rapidly shifting the production paradigm of the aerospace industry by adopting high-frequency launch strategies based on reusable launch vehicles. As a result, the ability to provide long-term and stable supplies of core materials and special alloys is emerging as a key factor for expanding launch vehicle production.

In this environment, Spear has continuously participated in major launch programs by space launch companies, leveraging its capabilities in supplying high-reliability special alloys that meet aerospace standards, adhering to long-term delivery schedules and consistent quality, and managing a supply chain connected from the smelting stage onward.

Last year, in particular, is regarded as a year in which Spear demonstrated the stability of its mid- to long-term business structure rather than focusing on short-term results. The company was recognized not only for its supply capabilities but also for its quality, reliability, and long-term partnership capabilities, establishing a recurring and cumulative order structure across multiple launch programs. This is seen as having laid the foundation for future growth.

The core of order expansion lies not simply in increased volume, but in the evolution of collaboration between Spear and space launch companies from product-level transactions to supply chain-level partnerships.

Space launch companies prioritize supply stability, quality reliability, raw material traceability, and risk management capabilities over price competitiveness. Spear is evaluated as a company equipped with integrated supply chain management capabilities that meet these requirements.

Achieving annual orders of 100 million dollars has significantly improved Spear's mid- to long-term revenue visibility, while also accelerating its transformation from a manufacturing supplier focused on one-off orders to an aerospace supply chain management company generating recurring and structural revenue. Building on this success, Spear plans to make this year a "Year of Quantum Leap" and to actively expand its business.

In particular, as space launch companies increase launch frequency and activate new programs, the scale of future orders is expected to grow explosively. With the global space industry shifting from a few large-scale projects to multiple ongoing program structures, long-term and recurring order models are rapidly taking hold. As Spear has already proven its supply stability, it is expected to secure a competitive edge and achieve a significant lead in the global market.

Alongside expanding orders from space launch companies, Spear continues to strengthen its supply chain control strategy, spanning from key raw materials to end customers.

The recently announced acquisition of a stake in an Indonesian nickel smelter serves as a strategic foundation for providing long-term and stable supply capabilities to global aerospace clients, including space launch companies, by securing long-term offtake rights for key raw materials used in aerospace special alloys.

Mitigating global supply chain risks through stable procurement of critical minerals aligns with national policy directions. This is regarded as a strategic business model that not only achieves corporate performance but also contributes to strengthening industrial competitiveness at the national level.

Spear stated, "If last year was a year of accumulating trust, 2026 will be the year we expand the scale and structure of our business based on that trust. Starting with the commercial production of the Indonesian smelter, we will continue sustainable growth based on our supply chain management capabilities."
