at 78 Spaces in Block 51

This system automatically recognizes vehicles entering and exiting through control devices installed on the parking space floors. Drivers pay the parking fee themselves using an unmanned payment machine, without the need for a parking attendant.
The parking lot operates from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Payment can be made directly at the unmanned payment machine or by scanning the QR code attached to the machine for card payment. Parking fee discounts for eco-friendly vehicles and other categories will continue to be applied as stipulated in the relevant ordinance.
The project is being installed and operated using capital from a private consignment operator, with a portion of the revenue to be paid to the city.
To minimize inconvenience for citizens following the introduction of the new system, the city plans to install a booth near the unmanned payment machine and have staff on site at all times to provide instructions and receive feedback regarding any issues. Additionally, Siheung City intends to gradually expand the unmanned control parking system, focusing on street parking lots where it is difficult to provide staffed management.
Siheung City Mayor Lim Byeongtaek stated, "We have piloted the unmanned control parking system to ensure safe and efficient operation of street parking lots and to enhance user convenience," adding, "We will continue to improve the parking environment to further increase convenience for citizens."
