Hampyeong County in South Jeolla Province announced on January 8 that it will conduct a preliminary demand survey to operate youth center programs that reflect the actual needs of young people.

The county will conduct a demand survey for local youth on the "2026 Youth Center Program" until January 18. The survey consists of 11 questions and aims to identify the types of educational, hobby, and cultural programs that young people genuinely want.

The results will be used as foundational data for operating youth center programs in the first half of this year.

Any resident of Hampyeong County between the ages of 19 and 49 can participate either by visiting their local town or township office or by taking part online.

A county official stated, "This survey is intended to help us operate programs that truly benefit the lives of young people," adding, "We encourage active participation to ensure the operation of high-quality programs."

Meanwhile, the Hampyeong County Youth Center, which officially opened in December of last year, is located on the third floor of the Nabi Eoulrim Center. The facility includes classrooms, a reading room, a computer lab, and a shared cafe.
