On the 7th (local time), Chairman Park, together with Park Jiwon, Vice Chairman of Doosan Group, Jeong Yeonin, Vice Chairman of Doosan Enerbility, and Scott Park, Vice Chairman of Doosan Bobcat, visited CES 2026 in Las Vegas, USA, to observe the latest technology trends centered on AI and to explore business opportunities.

After touring the Doosan booth, Chairman Park remarked, "In the AI era, electricity demand will increase significantly, especially centered around data centers, and energy supply methods will diversify depending on customer needs. Since we have energy solutions that can meet each of these needs, we will lead the energy market with tailored strategies."

Doosan set up its exhibition under the theme "Powered by Doosan." The company displayed a model of a 380MW-class large gas turbine for power generation, for which it signed five supply contracts with major U.S. big tech companies last year. As a commercialized product capable of supplying large-scale electricity stably, it is considered a practical energy source for AI data centers that must operate 24/7 without interruption.

A model of a small modular reactor (SMR), which is gaining attention as a next-generation power source, was also showcased. Its modular design allows for customized power supply according to demand, which is considered a key advantage. In addition, the hydrogen fuel cell products on display feature short construction periods and modular designs, making them installable anywhere and usable as both main and backup power sources for data centers.

"Physical AI" technology, introduced by Doosan Bobcat and Doosan Robotics, was also one of the key themes of the Doosan exhibition. In his New Year's address this year, Chairman Park Jungwon emphasized, "Doosan possesses world-class manufacturing capabilities and vast hardware data in fields such as power generation equipment, construction machinery, and robotics, giving us a strong advantage in leading the era of physical AI."

Doosan Bobcat introduced core software technologies for implementing physical AI, such as the voice-based AI technology "Jobsite Companion," which supports on-site workers, and "Bobcat Service AI," which enhances maintenance efficiency. Doosan Robotics also unveiled "Scan&Go," which enables task execution without coding through AI and 3D vision technology. "Scan&Go" received the Best of Innovation Award in the AI category and the Innovation Award in the Robotics category at this year's CES.

Meanwhile, Chairman Park Jungwon personally oversaw an open recruitment event held locally during CES to secure global talent. This is the first time Doosan has conducted overseas open recruitment at the group level. The recruitment targeted international students at U.S. universities who have completed or are expected to complete degrees in engineering fields.

The positions being recruited include research and development (R&D) roles in areas such as AI, gas turbines, nuclear power, and robotics. For those who have not yet graduated, Doosan plans to provide industry-academia scholarships for up to 36 months according to their remaining semesters. Successful candidates will join the company immediately after completing their individual academic schedules.

A Doosan representative said, "This year's CES served as an opportunity to showcase Doosan's differentiated energy and AI technologies, while also securing future talent to drive these innovations. We will continue global open recruitment to expand our talent pool and lead technological innovation."
