Gyeonggi Online School Holds Video Lectures in Collaboration with Local Self-Directed Learning Centers

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will conduct a pilot operation of the "4th Gyeonggi Online School Real-Time Video Lecture" in a blended online and offline format, in collaboration with the Pocheon Self-Directed Learning Center, from January 12 to February 13.

This pilot operation serves as a demonstration case of a public cooperation model between Gyeonggi Online School and local self-directed learning centers. The focus is on implementing the Gyeonggi Online School self-directed learning model, which combines real-time online classes with local learning spaces.

At the Pocheon Self-Directed Learning Center, students will participate in Gyeonggi Online School's real-time video lectures, engaging in systematic lessons led by professional instructors, as well as learning centered on Q&A and feedback.

In particular, by creating a blended learning environment that combines online classes with on-site learning support, the program aims to enhance students' engagement and continuity in learning.

An official from the provincial office of education stated, "Through Gyeonggi Online School, we are expanding learning opportunities to prevent educational exclusion caused by time and space constraints," adding, "With this pilot operation in collaboration with the Pocheon Self-Directed Learning Center, we plan to spread the Gyeonggi Online School public cooperation model, which supports continuous learning beyond regional and spatial limitations, to all areas of the province."
