Chef Seonggeun Lim, winner of Olive Channel's "Hansik Daecheop 3" and currently gaining popularity through his appearance on Netflix's "Chef's Table: Culinary Class War 2," showed confidence to a customer who ordered a product for which he serves as a model.

On January 5, a post titled "Imjjang Says to Return It If You Don't Like It" was uploaded to an online community. "Imjjang" is both the name of Chef Lim's YouTube channel and his nickname.

The post included a screenshot of Chef Lim's reply to a comment from a user. According to the post, a user commented on Chef Lim's Instagram, "After watching 'Chef's Table: Culinary Class War,' I immediately purchased doganitang," adding that they had subscribed to his YouTube channel and intended to repurchase. In response, Chef Lim replied, "If it doesn't suit your taste, feel free to return it."

Some people responded that Chef Lim's confidence inspired trust, while others expressed concern that guaranteeing and showing such confidence in a product bearing his name carries risks. Some users commented, "Unless he manages quality himself, the likelihood of complaints is high, and excessive confidence could backfire," and "There should be a different approach between products he makes and sells himself and those for which he only serves as a promoter or model."
