In 2026, a total of 410 projects, worth 147.1 billion won, are targeted for early ordering. These include flood control and disaster prevention, roads, water supply and sewerage, rural development, and park construction.
Of these, 82 projects worth 69.4 billion won are funded by national and provincial subsidies, while 328 projects worth 77.7 billion won are funded by the city itself. Notably, about half of all projects-207 projects worth 12 billion won-will be designed in-house, which is expected to save approximately 700 million won in the budget.
To ensure the stable achievement of early ordering, the city will operate an Early Order Design Task Force led by the Director of Urban Construction, organized into four teams.
The task force aims to achieve over 95% early ordering and over 55% swift execution in the first half of the year. To support the revitalization of the local construction industry, the city will implement a mandatory pre-review system for joint departmental split orders and encourage subcontracting.
Deputy Mayor Jeong Seonghyeon stated, "The core is to carry out construction projects in a fair and transparent manner that citizens can trust and be satisfied with," adding, "We will strengthen management and inspection to ensure early ordering and swift execution proceed without issue, leading to job creation and revitalization of the local economy."
