Osan City to Support Rent for Vacant Old Downtown Stores for Start-up Small Business Owners

Stores Around Areumdaro Eligible
Up to 1 Million Won Monthly Rent Support for Two Years

On January 7, the city of Osan in Gyeonggi Province announced that it will provide partial support for rent payments to start-up small business owners who lease vacant stores in the old downtown area.

This initiative has been underway since last year to address the issue of long-term vacancies in stores throughout the old downtown district.


The stores eligible for rent support are vacant properties located in the old downtown area around Areumdaro (formerly known as the Street of Culture) in front of Osan Station. The city will accept applications until January 22, after which recipients will be selected through a review process.


Selected applicants will receive up to 1 million won per month in rent support for up to two years. For more details about the designated area, eligibility requirements, and specific support conditions, please refer to the announcement on the Osan city website.
