Korea REITs Association and Hanyang Cyber University Join Forces... Up to 50% Tuition Reduction for REITs Industry Employees

The Korea REITs Association has signed a business agreement with Hanyang Cyber University to support degree acquisition for employees in the REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) industry.

On January 7, the REITs Association announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanyang Cyber University for corporate commissioned education. This agreement aims to strengthen industry-academia cooperation, enhance the practical capabilities of REITs industry professionals, and provide a systematic educational environment.

According to the agreement, association members and employees of member companies who enroll at Hanyang Cyber University will have their application fees waived. Undergraduate students will receive a 50% reduction in tuition, while graduate students will receive a 30% reduction. Graduate students will also have their admission fees waived. The two institutions will jointly operate practical, institutional, and policy-related REITs education programs, and will collaborate to expand lifelong learning opportunities for employees.

The talent fostered through this partnership is expected to contribute to the stable management and development of the REITs market. The association anticipates that by systematically securing professional talent, it can enhance the overall competitiveness of the REITs industry and build greater market trust.

Jung Byungyun, Chairman of the REITs Association, stated, "This agreement will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the human resources foundation for the sustainable growth of the REITs industry," adding, "We will strive for qualitative growth in the REITs market by enhancing the capabilities of member company employees."
