Check Real-Time Availability of the Nearest Rest Area
Woowa Brothers Youth, in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is providing information on the locations and operational status of rest areas for delivery riders, allowing them to use these facilities conveniently at any time.
Woowa Brothers Youth, which is responsible for Baemin's logistics services, announced on January 7 that, together with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, they are providing real-time updates on the locations and operational status of approximately 130 rest areas for riders (mobile workers) nationwide through Baemin Connect, Instagram, and KakaoTalk. Woowa Brothers Youth has been offering this guidance on rest areas for mobile workers across the country for three consecutive years since 2024.
Previously, riders had to search for rest spaces themselves or rely on basic navigation directions while making deliveries. To address these inconveniences, Woowa Brothers Youth received information on approximately 130 rest areas for mobile workers from the Ministry of Employment and Labor and now provides this information in a way that allows riders to easily check it. In particular, by utilizing the Naver Map save feature, they have improved accessibility by enabling riders to view nearby rest area information in real time.
Information on these rest areas can also be found in the "Woowa Delivery Encyclopedia," which compiles all know-how related to delivery, curated by Woowa Brothers Youth. A representative from Woowa Brothers Youth stated, "The rest area guidance, now in its third year in partnership with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, is a project designed to help riders rest comfortably at nearby facilities and deliver safely," adding, "We will continue to reflect the voices of field riders and carry out cooperative activities to create a better delivery environment."
