President Lee Jaemyung sent "encouragement pizzas" to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety employees who oversaw the implementation of the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, on January 6, President Lee sent pizzas to employees of the Local Finance and Economy Office who contributed to the recovery of the people's livelihood economy by distributing consumption coupons to all citizens without any setbacks, as a gesture of appreciation for their hard work. This is the third round of "encouragement pizzas," following the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Presidential Security Service.
In a written message, President Lee said, "I thank all of you for swiftly implementing the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons to help 50 million citizens return to their daily lives," and added, "You have brought warmth to local businesses everywhere and played a major role in turning the tide toward economic recovery."
An official from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety stated, "Our employees worked day and night to ensure that the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupons were distributed without any issues," and added, "As we have been selected as the first organization to receive encouragement in the Year of the Red Horse, we will continue to deliver results with even greater speed going forward."
