"We Will Drive Urban Innovation and Change with Citizens at the Center"
Kim Bora, Mayor of Anseong, has presented "Seungse Doyak" (Riding the Momentum, Leaping Forward) as the key theme for this year, driving efforts to build a sustainable city.

The concept of "Seungse Doyak" reflects her determination to boldly implement structural improvements for the city by leveraging the momentum of accumulated achievements.
Bora Kim, Mayor of Anseong City, is explaining the policy direction for city administration this year at the New Year's press briefing held on the 6th at the Anseong City Lifelong Learning Center. Anseong City
During the briefing, Mayor Kim stated, "We will continue to drive innovation and change in the city based on five core tasks: economy, energy, care, basic social infrastructure, and the living population."
In the economic sector, the city will strategically foster key local industries such as semiconductor materials, components, equipment, food, and manufacturing. An industrial ecosystem will be established by linking technology development, talent cultivation, and market expansion. In the first half of the year, the Anseong Industry Promotion Agency will be launched to serve as a hub for supporting business growth and building a mutually beneficial local economic model.
The city will also create a virtuous cycle leading to job creation, improved residential conditions, and population growth by promoting the culture and tourism industries, revitalizing the use of local currency, and supporting traditional markets.
The transition to renewable energy will be accelerated. Anseong will promote energy self-sufficiency by establishing local production and consumption (Jisan Jiso) and RE100 industrial complexes, expanding solar power installations on public land, and creating specialized distributed energy zones and energy self-reliant villages. The city will also expand the agrivoltaic solar power model, as well as the distribution and infrastructure for electric and hydrogen vehicles.
The city will work to increase the living population by encouraging people from various regions to stay, consume, and contribute to the city's vitality. Based on the "Anseong ON Citizen System," the city will link culture, tourism, and the local economy to create an environment where people gather and opportunities expand. Differentiated cultural content will also be enhanced, including the Hometown Love Donation Program, cultural city projects, lake tourism, the Namsadang Baudeogi Festival, and artisan crafts.
Policies in the welfare sector, such as integrated care and basic social infrastructure, will also be strengthened. Centered on the customized community care model, the city will expand medical, nursing, and home care services, identify care blind spots through public-private cooperation, and provide demand-oriented services such as hospital escort support for single-person households and AI-based health management.
To reduce the burdens of childbirth, parenting, and healthcare, the city will operate a Moonlight Children's Hospital, establish a public postpartum care center, advance child-friendly city policies, and promote the establishment of a public medical school at Hankyong National University.
In addition, the city will reinforce "Anseong-style basic social" policies, including opportunity income for farmers, fishermen, youth, artists, and athletes; support for hairdressing and beauty expenses for seniors; free transportation; and support for newlywed couples.
Mayor Kim stated, "In the Year of the Black Horse, I will do my utmost to ensure that Anseong becomes a city where sustainable development can be truly felt, with the sole focus on the happiness of our citizens."
