Kim Junchul has been inaugurated as the 32nd Deputy Governor of Gangjin County, Jeollanam-do.
Deputy Governor Kim began his public service career at Haenam County Office in 1992 and has worked in Haenam County, Jeollanam-do Provincial Government, and central government agencies. He has held positions such as Director of Job and Economy, Director of Accounting, Director of Educational Support at the Human Resources Development Institute, Head of Sports Policy Team at Jeollanam-do, and was seconded to the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. Throughout these roles, he has been responsible for regional economic development, disaster safety, and public official training.
Deputy Governor Kim is recognized for his policy execution capabilities, having supported small business owners, fostered small and medium-sized enterprises, and handled tasks related to resident safety.
Deputy Governor Kim stated, "Future industries are emerging across Jeollanam-do, such as the Haenam Data Center and the Naju Artificial Sun project. I will dedicate my efforts to laying the foundation for future growth industries in Gangjin as well." He added, "I will communicate with residents and pursue field-oriented administration."
