Yangpyeong County Named Top Institution in Land Policy Sector in '2025 Comprehensive Land Information Evaluation'

Yangpyeong County in Gyeonggi Province (County Governor Jeon Jinseon) announced on January 6 that it has been selected as the top institution in the land policy sector (development charges and individual publicly announced land prices) in the '2025 Comprehensive Land Information Evaluation' hosted by Gyeonggi Province.

This comprehensive evaluation was conducted for 31 cities and counties within Gyeonggi Province, assessing seven areas including land policy and real estate administration. The evaluation comprehensively reviewed the degree of proactive work, efforts to protect residents' property rights, and the provision of high-quality administrative services, ultimately selecting outstanding institutions.

Yangpyeong County received high marks for its overall work related to development charges and individual publicly announced land prices, leading to its selection as the best institution. This achievement is considered significant as it represents the restoration of trust from the local community and residents in this field.

In particular, Yangpyeong County was recognized as a best practice for implementing special measures for the collection of development charges and proactively applying standard costs ex officio even when payers did not submit development cost documentation. These efforts helped prevent fines in advance and reduced the burden on obligated payers. Additionally, the systematic investigation and analysis of the 'characteristics' of individual publicly announced land prices and individual housing prices contributed to increased public trust and received high praise.
