Amid heightened security concerns among companies following a series of internal information leaks in the e-commerce and financial sectors, Polaris Office has introduced a powerful solution to address these challenges.
On January 6, Polaris Office announced the official launch of Atlassian Guard Premium, the top-tier security solution from Nasdaq-listed Atlassian, in the Korean market, setting a new standard for enterprise security.
Atlassian is a global company dominating the worldwide development and collaboration tool market with products such as Jira and Confluence. As most major corporations and unicorn companies in Korea have established their work environments based on Atlassian solutions, the introduction of Guard Premium to the domestic market is drawing significant attention from the industry.
This launch comes as the primary threat to corporate security has shifted from external hacking to the misuse of insider privileges. In particular, starting in 2026, companies will face punitive fines of up to 10% of total revenue for major information leaks, making the establishment of sophisticated internal control systems not just an option but a matter of survival.
Atlassian Guard Premium, introduced by Polaris Office, acts as a "digital black box" that tracks data flows in real time within collaborative environments. Going beyond traditional login security (SSO), it features data classification, user activity detection, and content scanning functions, dramatically strengthening internal controls.
This solution detects and blocks suspicious activities, such as an employee scheduled to leave downloading large volumes of documents or the entry of sensitive information like credit card numbers within a project. Rather than responding after an incident, it prevents data leakage attempts at the source.
A Polaris Office representative emphasized, "With the leakage of customer personal information and core IP (intellectual property) emerging as the greatest risk threatening the survival of companies, we are seeing a surge in inquiries from advanced industries and the financial sector. We will actively support our clients in transparently monitoring abnormal data access by internal employees, which is difficult to detect with existing security systems, and in proactively responding to evolving regulatory environments."
The representative added, "Beyond simply providing tools, we aim to be a partner responsible for corporate data governance, supporting clients in proactively adapting to the changing security landscape."
Meanwhile, as a Platinum Solution Partner-Atlassian's highest certification-Polaris Office plans to lead the enterprise cloud security market, starting with the launch of this product.
