Mercury Enhances Financial Transparency Through Tangible Asset Revaluation

Mercury, a company specializing in information and communications equipment, announced on January 6 that it had conducted a revaluation of the land at its headquarters in Gajwa-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon. The revaluation determined the value of the land to be 68.5 billion won, representing a 585% increase compared to the previous book value of 10 billion won.

This asset revaluation was carried out to reasonably reflect the asset value on the financial statements in line with the latest evaluation standards, and to enhance the transparency and external credibility of the company's financial information. The revaluation was conducted by an external appraisal agency following a board resolution in December last year, with the valuation date set as December 31, 2025.

The difference arising from the revaluation of the land at Mercury's headquarters will be reflected in the financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and the company's accounting policies.

A Mercury representative stated, "This asset revaluation is a measure to more reasonably reflect the company's asset value in accordance with K-IFRS (Korean International Financial Reporting Standards) and to provide stakeholders with reliable financial information. We will continue to strive for transparent financial management and enhancement of corporate value."

The representative added, "As a leading player in the home terminal market, Mercury has made company-wide efforts over the past year to strengthen its business competitiveness. In 2026, we will continue to do our utmost to achieve stable growth and profitability by pioneering new markets, including exports, and by enhancing our portfolio competitiveness."
