Dong-A Otsuka Holds Opening Ceremony, Recognizes Efforts of Executives and Employees

On January 6, Park Cheolho, President and CEO of Dong-A Otsuka, stated, "As the pace of change, including the advancement of AI, is faster than ever, the key word for this year is 'preparation.' We must strive to become a company that leads the future through thorough preparation and bold challenges."

At the opening ceremony held at Dong-A Otsuka's headquarters in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, President Park quoted Peter Drucker, saying, "The best way to predict the future is to create it." He emphasized, "In a rapidly changing business environment, we need to go beyond simply responding and instead prepare ourselves to proactively shape the future." He then presented three tasks to prepare for the year ahead.

First, President Park stressed, "We must complete a smart production system that prioritizes quality and safety while considering the environment." He added, "Production innovation that combines eco-friendliness and efficiency on the foundation of solid quality competitiveness is essential." He continued, "Consumer needs are expanding beyond health and well-being to include functionality and premium value. We must develop new premium functional products based on differentiated technology and innovation to pioneer new markets."

Regarding organizational management, he remarked, "Growth comes not from short-term achievements but from a long-term vision. We must enhance synergy between departments based on individual growth and establish a culture of harmony and respect throughout the organization."

President Park concluded, "Our preparation will determine the future of Dong-A Otsuka. When all executives and employees prepare together with a unified vision, Dong-A Otsuka will be able to take another leap forward."

Meanwhile, at the opening ceremony, awards such as the Outstanding Model Employee Award and the Excellent Proposal Award were also presented to recognize the hard work of executives and employees.
