Incheon Yeonsu District Launches "Our Baby's First Greeting" Initiative... Photos and Messages Displayed on Billboards

On January 6, Yeonsu District in Incheon announced that it will launch the "Our Baby's First Greeting" initiative to create a childbirth- and parenting-friendly environment.

This initiative aims to foster a family-friendly social atmosphere by encouraging the local community to celebrate the birth of babies together, thereby increasing social support and pride for families with newborns.

Every two weeks, photos of newborn babies and congratulatory messages from their parents will be displayed on five electronic billboards, including the Dream Canvas on the first floor of Yeonsu District Office, Yeonsu District Office Intersection, the outdoor billboard at the Second Government Building, Cheonghak Intersection, and Munhak Intersection.

Any family with a newborn in Yeonsu District can participate by submitting a simple application online through Naver Form.

Lee Jaeho, Mayor of Yeonsu District, stated, "We will continue to raise social awareness of childbirth and parenting by maintaining our commitment to families with newborns, and will do our best to make Yeonsu District a great place to raise children."
