Everland Launches Full Operation of Snow Sledding Area for Winter Vacation Season

Express Course Added to Alpine Village

Everland is launching its snow sledding area and offering a variety of attractions as the full-fledged winter vacation season begins.

According to the Resort Division of Samsung C&T Corporation on January 6, Everland is currently hosting the 'Snow OZ Park' winter festival. The park is filled with special winter-only content such as snow activities, photo zones, merchandise, and a special Bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry) event, making it an ideal destination for families, couples, and friends.

Last weekend, the Alpine Village, which offers a white snowy landscape, saw the addition of an approximately 200-meter-long Express Course, bringing all courses of the Snow Buster sledding area into full operation. The Express Course is a signature attraction at Everland’s snow sledding area, allowing up to four people to ride together in a giant circular tube, facing each other for an exhilarating experience. The Racing Course, which opened last month, is also popular for its thrilling winter racing experience, as visitors can ride solo tubes and speed down the slope.

There are also a variety of snow playgrounds where visitors of all ages can enjoy rich snow activities. The Snow Playground, which gained great popularity last year, has been expanded to about 240 pyeong (approximately 793 square meters) this year, allowing guests to enjoy body slides, wooden sleds, and play on the snow. The Snow Yard is especially popular among families with young children, as it offers the chance to build snowmen or ride mini sleds together.

The main stage of this winter festival, Alpine Village, now features not only snow-themed content but also newly created Wizard of Oz character photo zones and displays, creating a fairy-tale-like 'winter wonderland' atmosphere.

Everland highlighted that unique photo spots, such as the 360-degree rotating video booth, Snow OZ photo wall, and winter signature photo zone, are gaining a reputation as must-visit places for memorable photos this winter. In addition, the exciting dance performance by Lenny & Friends and the 'Run Run Run! Snow Friends' show, which further enhances the winter mood, are being held on the Alpine Village stage, providing fun for both children and adults to dance along and enjoy the performances together.
