This program is designed to support small and medium-sized tourism businesses in the province that are experiencing management difficulties due to uncertainty in the tourism market. If these businesses obtain loans from the program’s partner financial institutions, NH Nonghyup Bank and Shinhan Bank, the province will provide interest subsidies of up to 3.5%.

Eligible applicants are tourism businesses that are registered or designated and currently operating within the province in accordance with the Tourism Promotion Act. However, businesses with overdue taxes or those for whom less than one year has passed since the end of their previous interest subsidy support are excluded from applying.

The maximum loan amount is up to 200 million won per business, with the interest subsidy provided for a period of four years. The funds must be used exclusively for business management expenses related to tourism operations and promotional activities to attract foreign tourists.

Applications for the management stabilization fund can be submitted by mail or email to the Tourism Policy Division of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province by January 30, following the announcement posted on the provincial government website. However, the application period may close early if the funds are exhausted.

Lee Donghee, Director of Tourism for Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, stated, "We hope this management stabilization fund will provide practical support to tourism businesses in the province facing difficulties due to market uncertainty," adding, "We will continue to make multifaceted efforts to support the tourism industry going forward."
