Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new 'Galaxy Book6 Series' laptops, which feature enhanced performance and portability. Compared to previous models, the new series offers significantly improved artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, as well as major upgrades in graphics, display, and battery performance.

The Galaxy Book6 Series offers comprehensive improvements in portability, sound, graphics, and battery performance compared to its predecessor. Equipped with Intel's 'Intel Core Ultra Series 3' processor, manufactured using the 1.8-nanometer (nm) class 18A advanced process, the devices deliver both enhanced power efficiency and processing performance, while also providing greater stability in thermal management.

The series also features an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) with up to 50 TOPS (trillion operations per second) performance, enabling efficient AI-powered tasks such as image editing, text conversion, and AI search. In particular, the 'Galaxy Book6 Ultra', equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card, supports fast AI image generation, smooth video playback and editing, and immersive gaming experiences.

Display and audio performance have also been significantly enhanced. The 'Dynamic AMOLED 2X Touch Display' supports up to 1,000 nits of HDR (High Dynamic Range) brightness, delivering vivid picture quality both indoors and outdoors. Vision Booster and anti-reflection technology further improve visibility even under strong lighting conditions.

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra is equipped with six speakers, including upward-firing tweeters and side/back-to-back woofers, providing a balanced and immersive sound experience with enhanced highs and lows.

The cooling system has been redesigned to reliably support the high-performance hardware. The Galaxy Book6 Series minimizes noise through efficient heat management, and for the first time in a Pro model, the 'Galaxy Book6 Pro' is equipped with a vapor chamber, improving heat dissipation and noise control across both the Ultra and Pro models.

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra features a newly designed 'Dual Path Outlet Fan' that disperses heat in both the rear and side directions. The enlarged heat sink effectively absorbs and dissipates heat generated by the processor and internal components, preventing overheating and performance degradation.

Battery performance has also been improved. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra and Pro (16-inch) models offer the longest battery life in the Galaxy Book series, supporting up to 30 hours of video playback-about 5 hours longer than the previous generation. They also support ultra-fast charging, reaching up to 63% charge in just 30 minutes.

In terms of design, internal structure and hinge improvements have reduced thickness. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra is 1.1mm thinner than its predecessor at 15.4mm, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro 16-inch model is 0.6mm thinner at 11.9mm, enhancing portability. Curved edges, a centrally placed Samsung logo, and symmetrically arranged speakers and input devices create a balanced look both inside and out.

AI features have also been strengthened. With 'AI Select', users can instantly access information by selecting text or images on the screen, while 'AI Cut Out' makes it easy to remove backgrounds from images for further use. Galaxy AI quickly understands user intentions based on simple explanations, helping to locate files, images, and settings, and supports seamless device connectivity and file sharing.

The Galaxy Book6 Series combines outstanding speed and performance with stable AI technology to deliver optimal productivity and convenience."

The Galaxy Book6 Series consists of three models: the 'Galaxy Book6', 'Galaxy Book6 Pro', and 'Galaxy Book6 Ultra'. In Korea, the 'Galaxy Book6 Pro' and 'Galaxy Book6 Ultra' will be released first on January 27, with pre-registration starting on Samsung.com from the 6th. The 'Galaxy Book6' is scheduled for release in March.

Samsung Electronics also plans to offer purchase benefits in conjunction with the 'Galaxy AI Academy' promotion through the end of March.
