The reward will be granted if an administrative fine is imposed based on the reported case, with a monthly cap of 400,000 won per person.

Eligible reports include: ▲littering of portable waste such as cigarette butts and tissues ▲waste disposal using plastic bags ▲failure to collect trash generated during leisure activities ▲illegal incineration of household waste ▲waste dumping using vehicles or handcarts ▲illegal disposal and incineration of business site waste, among others.

The reward will be paid once an administrative fine has been imposed based on the report. The amount ranges from a minimum of 10,000 won to a maximum of 200,000 won, depending on the type of violation, with a monthly cap of 400,000 won per person. Payment will be made in cash or an equivalent reward.

To receive the reward, a 'Violation Report Form' must be completed and submitted. Payment may be restricted if the budget is exhausted early. The 'Violation Report Form' can be found in the City News section on the Yangju City website.

An official from Yangju City stated, "Active monitoring and participation by citizens greatly help eradicate illegal waste disposal," adding, "We ask for the continued interest and participation of citizens to help create a pleasant living environment."
