Daegu Yuga Elementary School Receives Minister of Education Award for Contributions to Promoting Arts Education

Daegu Yuga Elementary School (Principal Shin Yunseop) announced on January 5 that it has received the Minister of Education Award for its contributions to the systematic management of the Wind Orchestra Club and the promotion of arts education linked to the school curriculum.


The Wind Orchestra Club has broadened students' musical literacy through ensemble activities in a variety of genres, including classical music, marches, and children's songs. The club has also consistently participated in national ensemble competitions, winning six gold awards and one silver award. These achievements have significantly contributed to enhancing students' pride and elevating the status of arts education at the school.

Daegu Yuga Elementary School plans to continue its efforts to nurture students' dreams and talents and to promote school arts education by operating a variety of arts education programs linked to the curriculum.
