Hyungji I&C (CEO Choi Hyewon) announced on January 5 that it will accelerate its entry into the Chinese and Japanese markets by leveraging Hyungji Group's global network, aiming to secure mid- to long-term growth drivers.
Recently, Hyungji Group Chairman Choi Byungo and Hyungji Elite Vice Chairman Choi Junho, who accompanied the Chinese economic delegation, have been expanding exchanges with the Chinese government and major economic officials. Hyungji I&C also plans to actively secure a foothold for its key brands in the Chinese market based on the group's strategic approach.
Hyungji I&C has already secured local trademark rights for its entry into China, establishing a foundation for stable business operations centered on its men's fashion brands "YEZAC," "BON," and "CARRIES NOTE." In particular, the company plans to quickly establish a presence in the Chinese and Japanese markets by introducing strategic product lines that emphasize reasonable pricing and practicality through major online platforms in both countries.
At the same time, the company will implement a differentiated approach in the offline market. Hyungji I&C will position itself as a "new premium brand" within department stores in key commercial districts, pursuing an upscale strategy by entering in the form of select shops. Through this, the company aims to strengthen product competitiveness and brand storytelling, encouraging value-driven consumption rather than simple price competition.
Major buyers from China and Japan have already visited Hyungji I&C's headquarters showroom to review collections and select products, engaging in substantive business discussions. Based on this, Hyungji I&C plans to sequentially enter the Chinese and Japanese markets as early as the second half of this year.
A Hyungji I&C representative stated, "Our goal is to establish a sustainable growth structure in the Chinese and Japanese markets by combining the group's global network with the competitiveness of each brand," adding, "By pursuing a distribution strategy that encompasses both online and offline channels, we will secure a stable sales base and enhance brand value at the same time."
