Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. is introducing products such as hotel towels and bath bombs that satisfy customers' emotions, in line with the "Feelconomy" trend.

"Trend Korea 2026" has identified "Feelconomy" as a key keyword to watch in 2026. The term combines "feel," representing emotion, and "economy," suggesting that mood will become a major factor driving purchases.

The representative product drawing attention under the Feelconomy trend at Gwangju Shinsegae is the hotel towel. Although hotel towels are more expensive than regular towels, they offer a premium hotel experience and have gained popularity as "mood-boosting" items.

At "The Chosun Hotel" on the 8th floor of the Gwangju Shinsegae main building, customers can find a wide variety of hotel towels. Among these, the premium face towel is the product that attracts the most customer interest.

Although these towels are more expensive than the average cotton towel, demand remains steady. As a result, hotel towels account for 20% of total sales at The Chosun Hotel in Gwangju Shinsegae.

With the rise of the Feelconomy trend, "Lush" is also gaining attention. Lush, a handmade cosmetics brand from the UK, is popular for its bath bombs made from natural ingredients such as fresh vegetables and fruits. Since relocating to a play spot in November last year, Lush at Gwangju Shinsegae has been displaying a variety of products, providing a pleasant experience not only for customers making purchases but also for those simply passing by the store.

Kwon Hyukwon, Head of the Lifestyle Team at Gwangju Shinsegae, said, "As the Feelconomy trend, where mood is becoming a key factor in consumption, continues to grow, related products are drawing attention. We hope you will visit Gwangju Shinsegae to experience and discover these new trends firsthand."
