Synergy Strategy to Be Unveiled at 30th Anniversary Conference on January 29

JobKorea announced on January 5 that the acquisition of the career platform 'JobPlanet', operated by Brain Commerce, was finalized as of December 31 last year, and that JobPlanet has been incorporated as a subsidiary as of January 1 this year.

With this acquisition, JobKorea will accelerate its transformation from a recruitment posting-centered platform into an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered career platform that combines corporate information and career data.

JobKorea expects that by integrating its extensive recruitment data with JobPlanet's corporate reviews and organizational culture data, it will be able to provide AI-based career support that not only recommends suitable job postings to job seekers, but also explains why a particular choice is reasonable. Through this, the company aims to further strengthen its competitiveness as a trusted career platform for both job seekers and employers.

JobPlanet will maintain its independent brand and service operations, and plans to enhance its community features to enable a more multidimensional understanding of companies based on the real experiences of companies and their members. JobKorea's strategy is to advance its service system to improve decision-making quality not only after the application stage, but also during the 'selection stage' before applying.

To this end, JobPlanet will continue to provide stable services based on its existing operating system, and organizational management matters will also be reviewed and implemented step by step, prioritizing user experience and service continuity. JobKorea views this acquisition not as a short-term business expansion, but as a key pillar of its mid- to long-term strategy to become an AI- and data-driven tech company. The company plans to enhance the accuracy of connections between job seekers and employers based on the data accumulated throughout the recruitment and career process, and to continuously improve overall platform service quality.

JobKorea will unveil additional details on its mid- to long-term strategy, AI service direction, and synergy strategy with JobPlanet at its 30th anniversary conference to be held on January 29. The event will also feature the AI Career Agent roadmap and plans to strengthen global competitiveness.
