Korea Social Investment Relaunches as "CunaeST"... "Global Expansion"

Korea Social Investment announced on January 5 that it will change its foundation name to "CunaeST Foundation" to strengthen its global expansion and partnership cooperation base.

The foundation explained that this name change is a strategic decision to build on the impact investment achievements and identity it has accumulated as a public interest corporation since its establishment in 2012, while also strengthening its communication and cooperation with domestic and international stakeholders. CunaeST is a name that combines the Latin word "Cunae" (meaning "cradle") and "ST" (standing for "Social Investment" and "Social Transformation"), symbolizing a "cradle of social change" that nurtures and fosters social value.

Under its new name, CunaeST plans to expand cooperation with domestic and international partners and capital markets, supporting the sustainable growth of the social innovation ecosystem. Going forward, the foundation intends to diversify its cooperation models based on global partnerships and strengthen support for innovative organizations at each stage of their growth.

Lee Sunyeol, CEO of CunaeST, stated, "The philosophy, mission, and essence of our work remain unchanged," adding, "Although the name is changing, the trust and responsibility built up by Korea Social Investment will continue as before."
