Daekyo Brain Training Offered with Preferential Benefits
Daekyo announced on January 5 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Vietnam War Veterans Association to prevent cognitive decline among national merit recipients who served in the Vietnam War.
This agreement was pursued in light of the increasing need to prevent cognitive decline among aging Vietnam War veterans, as well as the reality that financial burdens make it difficult for them to access related services.
At the business agreement ceremony held on December 30 last year at the Vietnam War Veterans Association Patriots and Veterans Hall in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, Byun Gyusook, Head of the Education Services Division at Daekyo (right), and Lee Hwajong, President of the Vietnam War Veterans Association, signed a business agreement to prevent cognitive decline in national merit recipients and took a commemorative photo. Daekyo will provide its cognitive function enhancement program, "Daekyo Brain Training," to elderly national merit recipients under preferential conditions. Daekyo Brain Training is a cognitive function improvement program designed with expert consultation from professors at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and the Korean Association of Occupational Therapists.
In addition, Daekyo plans to offer free Korean language education to national merit recipients who need basic literacy training.
A Daekyo representative stated, "We will continue to expand cooperation with local governments and other organizations to support healthy and fulfilling lives for seniors."
