[Tomorrow's Weather] Morning Lows from -9 to 3 Degrees... Mostly Cloudy Nationwide, Gradually Clearing

On Monday, January 5, most of the country will see mostly cloudy skies, with the central regions-excluding the east coast-gradually clearing up from the morning, and the southern regions and Jeju Island becoming clearer from the afternoon.

Between dawn and the morning, Jeju Island will experience rain or snow.

Expected precipitation is less than 5 mm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and around 5 mm for Jeju Island. Forecasted snowfall is 1 to 3 cm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and 1 to 5 cm for mountainous areas of Jeju Island.

Morning lows are forecast to range from minus 9 to 3 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs from 0 to 9 degrees Celsius.

For the time being, very dry conditions will persist, especially in eastern regions, so extra caution is needed to prevent wildfires and other types of fires.

Fine dust concentrations are expected to be at 'good' to 'moderate' levels nationwide.

Wave heights in coastal waters are forecast at 0.5 to 2.5 meters for the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.0 meters for the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 meters for the South Sea.

In offshore waters (up to about 200 kilometers from the coastline), wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea.
