Samsung Electronics has unveiled its "AI Everyday Companion" strategy, which integrates artificial intelligence (AI) across TVs, home appliances, and health, ahead of the opening of CES 2026, the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition.
On January 4 (local time) in Las Vegas, USA, Samsung Electronics introduced its AI vision and major new products and services centered around three pillars-Entertainment Companion, Home Companion, and Care Companion-at "The First Look" press conference.
Tae-moon Roh, CEO and Head of the DX Division at Samsung Electronics, stated, "By applying AI to all product lines and services, Samsung Electronics will enable customers to enjoy truly meaningful AI experiences. We will become an AI companion in customers' daily lives and lead the popularization of AI experiences."
To achieve this, Samsung Electronics presented the following core strategies: expanding customer choice through open collaboration; optimizing services by combining on-device and cloud AI; strengthening AI interfaces such as SmartThings, One UI, and Now Brief; and enhancing security and reliability based on Samsung Knox.

Samsung Electronics unveiled its exclusive AI platform for Samsung TVs, the "Vision AI Companion," emphasizing its Entertainment Companion strategy, which understands user context and provides personalized insights.
The entire 2026 lineup of Samsung TVs will feature the next-generation high dynamic range (HDR) standard "HDR10+ Advanced" and "Eclipsa Audio," a 3D sound technology co-developed with Google. The "Q-Symphony" feature will also be expanded to all Harman audio brands.
Samsung Electronics introduced the world's first 130-inch "Micro RGB (Red, Green, Blue) TV" and plans to expand the product range to various sizes in 2026. The company also unveiled a new OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TV with a zero-gap wall-mount and the designer-collaborated Wi-Fi speaker "Music Studio." Its proprietary TV operating system, Tizen OS, will support upgrades for seven years.
Samsung Electronics also presented its "Home Companion" vision, aiming to liberate users from household chores. Cheolki Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of the Digital Appliances (DA) Division at Samsung Electronics, said, "We will realize the Home Companion vision based on Samsung Electronics' overwhelmingly connected AI appliance ecosystem and reliability."

The 2026 "Bespoke AI Family Hub" refrigerator is equipped with Google's latest AI model, "Gemini," enhancing ingredient recognition and management features. Additional functions include recipe recommendations, video-based recipe conversion, and dietary management reports.
The "Bespoke AI AirDresser," "Bespoke AI Combo" washer-dryer, and "Bespoke AI Steam" robot vacuum also reinforce the AI-based integrated appliance management experience. Samsung Electronics plans to expand its "Home Care Service," which uses SmartThings to detect home risks such as water leaks in advance and connect users to insurance benefits.
Samsung Electronics also revealed its AI-based "Intelligent Care" strategy, spanning mobile devices, TVs, and home appliances. Samsung Health analyzes sleep, nutrition, and activity data to provide health management coaching and supports medical consultations by linking with the "Xealth" platform when abnormalities are detected.
The company also unveiled, for the first time, brain health technology that analyzes biometric signals such as sleep records, walking speed, and finger movements to detect cognitive decline. Clinical review is currently underway.
CEO Roh stated, "All of Samsung's products, services, and AI innovations are aimed at making users' daily lives more valuable. Based on responsible ethical standards, we will establish ourselves as the true AI companion for everyday life."
The products and services unveiled at "The First Look" will be on display at the Samsung Electronics exhibition hall at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, USA, from January 5 to 7.
