Designed to Foster Creativity and Self-Expression in Teenagers
Dong Daejeon Library will offer reading clubs and creative experience classes for teenagers from January 4 to February 28, to coincide with the winter vacation.
This program is designed to broaden perspectives through reading and discussion, and to help teenagers develop creativity and self-expression skills through a variety of creative activities.
The programs include: ▲Youth Band Reunion, Music Library Project (January 4-February 22) ▲Create Your Own Emotion Emoji (January 17-February 7) ▲Zero-Waste Tumbler Bag Making (February 21) ▲A Memorable Sentence from a Book, Bookmark Making (February 28).
In particular, the newly launched ▲Dong Daejeon Library Youth Reading Club 1st Session (every other Saturday from January 17 to February 28) will allow teenagers to read classic books together and freely share their thoughts. This reading club is designed to encourage deep reading and to foster interest in reading activities by enabling participants to exchange opinions freely, without competition or evaluation.
Registration for January classes is currently open. Registration for February classes will be available online through the Daejeon City OK Reservation Service and by phone starting at 9 a.m. on February 2.
