To mark the New Year, the Jamsil and Main branches will host exhibitions of "K-Art," representing Korean art. At the Art Hall on the 6th floor of AvenueL at the Jamsil branch, "Korean Modern Art: Lyricism Crafted with Brushstrokes" will be held from January 29 to March 7. Visitors can enjoy free admission to works from the 1970s to 1990s by leading Korean figurative painters, including Lee Daewon, as well as Yoon Joongsik, Kwon Okyeon, and Byun Siji.

At the Main branch, from January 17 to March 15, "Minhwa, Embracing Fortune" will be presented across the 1st to 4th floors of AvenueL, wishing for abundance and well-being in the New Year. Contemporary Minhwa artists An Sungmin and Moon Sunyoung will participate, showcasing "K-Minhwa"-modern interpretations of traditional Minhwa symbols. Customers who subscribe to the "Lotte Gallery" social media account after viewing the exhibition will receive a complimentary postcard featuring one of the artists' signature works.

Park Jiyoung, Head of Design at Lotte Department Store, stated, "For 2026, we have selected 'MOVE' as our annual keyword to deliver a message of vibrant energy and progress. Through visuals and exhibitions capturing the spirit of the Byeongo Year and the red horse, we hope to share New Year's hope with our customers and look forward to their enthusiastic interest."
