Lotte Hi-Mart announced on January 2 that it will hold its first discount event of 2026, the 'Gwang (Light) Sale,' throughout January at over 310 stores nationwide. First, to celebrate the New Year, Lotte Hi-Mart will hold a 'Super Special Price' event on a range of products such as kimchi refrigerators and washer-dryers. Featured items include Samsung Electronics' 'Kimchi Plus 4-Door (490L)' for 1.99 million won, 'Bespoke Grande AI One-Body Top-Fit (Washer 25kg + Dryer 20kg)' for 2.8 million won, LG Electronics' 'OLED TV (65-inch)' for 2.59 million won, and 'Tromm Drum Washer (24kg)' for 1.49 million won, all offered at prices comparable to the lowest available online.

Customers preparing for marriage or moving can receive discounts of up to 1.4 million won. In particular, the 'Wedding Fair' discount benefits for marrying customers have been increased by 50% compared to previous offers. Customers who purchase home appliances worth over 5 million won and provide proof of marriage, such as a wedding hall contract, can receive discounts of up to 600,000 won depending on the purchase amount.

The company has also prepared a 'Brand Week' event for customers purchasing Samsung Electronics or LG Electronics appliances. Depending on the store, customers who purchase more than 7 million won can receive discounts of up to 800,000 won based on the purchase amount. The benefits from the 'Super Special Price,' 'Brand Week,' and 'Wedding Fair' events can be combined.

Special discount benefits are also available for customers considering the purchase of IT appliances such as laptops and tablets ahead of the new school semester. Featured discounted products include LG Electronics' 'Gram' and ASUS 'VivoBook,' each limited to 500 units, with an instant discount of 100,000 won. Samsung Electronics' 'Galaxy Tab S11' and 'Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra' will be offered with a 50% discount on storage upgrade costs until January 14. For example, upgrading the 'Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra' from 256GB to 512GB will be available at approximately 80,000 won, which is half the usual price.

There are also simultaneous purchase benefits for Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics laptop event products. Until January 15, if a customer purchases any Samsung Electronics or LG Electronics laptop together with a featured PC accessory such as a Logitech mouse or keyboard, they will receive an instant discount equivalent to receiving the PC accessory for free.

The company will also hold its first multi-item discount event for its private brand (PB) 'PLUX.' When purchasing two or more PLUX products at stores or through the online shopping mall, customers will receive an instant 3% discount per item, as well as L.POINT rewards.
