Support for SMEs and Mid-sized Companies, Capital Management, and Economic Cooperation Fund
Veteran with Audit, Finance, and Branch Management Experience Appointed as Compliance Officer
The Export-Import Bank of Korea announced on January 2 that it has appointed three new division heads and a new Compliance Officer.
The newly appointed division heads are Jinseop Kim, former Head of the Planning Department; Donghoon Lee, former Head of the Supply Chain Stabilization Fund; and Seo Jeonghwa, former Head of the Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Department.
Kim, the new division head, is an expert in planning and management, having previously served as Head of the Planning Department, Head of the Treasury and Market Division, and Head of the Management Innovation Office.
He will lead the SME and Mid-sized Business Finance Division, overseeing the establishment and implementation of strategies to support small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies at the Export-Import Bank of Korea.
Lee, the new division head, is a specialist in credit and global finance, having held positions such as Head of the Supply Chain Stabilization Fund, Head of the Innovative Growth Finance Division 3, and Vice President of KEXIM Indonesia Finance.
He will serve as Head of the Global and Capital Markets Division, leading the expansion of the bank's capital markets operations as well as its funding and asset management work.
Seo, the new division head, is an expert in international development cooperation, having previously served as Head of the Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Department, Head of the Busan Branch, and Head of the West Asia Department.
She will lead the Economic Cooperation Projects Division, overseeing the management of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund, which supports the economic development of developing countries.
Heegap Park, former Head of the Audit Department, has been appointed as the new Compliance Officer.
Park, the new Compliance Officer, has held key positions such as Head of the Audit Department, Head of the Financial Management Department, and Head of the Suwon Branch. He will be responsible for leading compliance work at the Export-Import Bank of Korea.
