Hwang Byungwoo, Chairman of iM Financial Group, stated on January 2, "We must respond swiftly to social demands such as productive finance, inclusive finance, financial consumer protection, and the strengthening of internal controls."

At the New Year's kick-off ceremony held at the second headquarters of iM Bank in Daegu on this day, Chairman Hwang remarked, "We should approach these not simply as responses to external demands, but as opportunities to secure new sources of revenue and as the foundation for creating a virtuous cycle of mutual growth with stakeholders."

He continued, "In a business environment where the great transformation brought by artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly unfolding, we must identify tasks optimized for the group's capabilities and achieve innovation in the way we work," adding, "We need to realize value enhancement with iM's unique impact."

Chairman Hwang further emphasized, "These success stories will come together to form the organization's 'success DNA,' and based on this, we will move closer to realizing our vision of becoming a 'hybrid financial group.'"

Additionally, he noted, "Since we have excellent affiliates such as banks and securities companies, we should aim for 'Seamless iM,' where all financial services are smoothly connected from the customer's perspective, going beyond simple cross-selling."
