Kyungnam University Holds 2025 Model Employee Award Ceremony

Seven Employees Recognized for Enhancing University Competitiveness
Commendations from External Organizations Also Presented

On January 2, Kyungnam University held the "2025 Model Employee Award Ceremony" in the International Seminar Room of the main building.

This ceremony was organized to encourage employees who have contributed to the university's development and administrative innovation over the past year.

The recipients of the 2025 Model Employee Award are: Shim Kwangho (Evaluation Planning Team), Kim Heeyeon (Institute for Far Eastern Studies), Lee Soyoung (Information and Computer Team), Seo Arim (Institute for Far Eastern Studies), Joo Soyoun (Faculty Affairs Team), Noh Youngran (Lifelong Education Center Administrative Support Team), and Kim Jaegil (Public Relations Office), for a total of seven awardees.

They were recognized for their outstanding achievements in faithfully carrying out their duties in each department, including supporting education and research, enhancing administrative services, and strengthening external communication, thereby making significant contributions to the overall operation of the university.

At the ceremony, commendations from external organizations were also presented. Jo Gayoung from the Career Support Team received a commendation from the Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do for contributions to youth job creation and revitalizing local employment.

Hong Jeonghyo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated, "Today's awardees have made significant contributions to enhancing the university's competitiveness and public value in the face of challenges such as declining school-age population and changes in the university environment.
