Staff exchanged New Year’s greetings and pledged, “Let’s unite our strength and wisdom to achieve glocal education in Jeonnam this year.” Before the ceremony, the executives visited the Bohungsan Memorial Tower in Okam-dong, Mokpo City, reaffirming their commitment to advancing their work in the new year.

In his New Year’s address, Superintendent Kim stated, “In this era of AI-driven transformation, Jeonnam’s education will reinforce its fundamentals and advance as the center of glocal education, moving forward with the region and toward the world.”

He emphasized, “We will realize personalized growth where not a single child is left behind, through the establishment of an AI-based future education ecosystem and a strong commitment to foundational academic achievement.”

He continued, “We will complete a model of symbiotic education where schools and communities thrive together, based on Jeonnam’s unique culture and industries. Leveraging Jeonnam’s distinctive diversity, we will expand international exchanges and glocal education so that classrooms in Jeonnam become the future of Korean education and a global standard.”

Superintendent Kim especially stressed, “The starting point of all change and challenge is integrity. Let’s make 2026 the ‘first year of integrity’ and build trustworthy education in Jeonnam through actions, not just words.”
