Pocheon City Wins Encouragement Award in 2025 Housing Administration Excellence Evaluation

Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 2 that it received the Encouragement Award in the "2025 Housing Administration Excellence Evaluation" hosted by the Governor of Gyeonggi Province.

This award is the result of Pocheon City's consistent efforts in overall housing administration, including strengthening support for apartment management, improving residential environments, and promoting citizen-centered administration. These efforts have now been recognized externally.

Pocheon City has worked to increase transparency in apartment management and systematically implement projects to improve the residential environment of aging apartment complexes. In addition, the city has consistently promoted housing administration policies that are highly responsive to citizens' needs, such as refining systems for handling everyday civil complaints. These factors contributed to the positive evaluation in this assessment.

An official from Pocheon City stated, "This award is the result of our housing administration policies, which have been implemented with the aim of enhancing citizens' quality of life, producing tangible outcomes." The official added, "We will continue to strengthen support for apartment management and housing welfare policies to create a safe and pleasant residential environment."
