to Prevent Financial Accidents and Information Leaks
Jinwan Jung, President of Woori Bank, emphasized on January 2, "This is the last opportunity to narrow the gap with our competitor banks," and stressed, "We must create change."
In his New Year's address, President Jung announced, "We will pursue four strategic directions: expanding our customer base, strengthening profitability, achieving future growth, and responsible management."
He explained to executives and employees, "This year, our top priority across the bank will be to expand our customer base, such as by discovering new business models and broadening customer contact points."
President Jung added that, to achieve these goals, the bank will deliver results by expanding productive finance and strengthening collaboration systems with affiliates. He also called for changes in the work environment. Woori Bank plans to implement an absolute individual performance evaluation this year.
President Jung further stated, "A single financial accident or information leak can destroy the trust we have built," urging everyone to adhere to fundamentals and principles.
