Samsung Electronics announced on January 2 that it will unveil its innovative AI portable projector, 'The Freestyle+,' at 'The First Look' event to be held in Las Vegas, USA, on January 4 (local time), ahead of the opening of CES 2026, the world's largest information technology (IT) and home appliance exhibition.

The Freestyle Plus features enhanced 'AI Screen Optimization' technology, providing the best viewing experience in any environment. Key features include 3D Auto Keystone, Screen Calibration, Real-Time Focus, and Screen Fit. With these capabilities, the product allows users to freely project images at any angle onto walls, ceilings, floors, as well as corners or curtains.

The 3D Auto Keystone function automatically corrects the image in real time to a nearly rectangular, optimized screen, even when projecting onto various surfaces such as three-sided corners or curved curtains, not just flat surfaces. Screen Calibration analyzes wall patterns using AI when projecting onto colored or patterned walls, minimizing distracting elements and delivering a clear image. Real-Time Focus corrects adjustment noise or blurry focus that may occur when changing the screen angle, ensuring a seamless viewing experience. Screen Fit automatically adjusts the screen's position, size, and angle to fit the dedicated screen area when projecting onto a dedicated screen, using AI.

Additionally, The Freestyle Plus supports a brightness of 430 ISO lumens, which is about twice as bright as its predecessor, making it possible to enjoy clearer content even under indirect lighting.

Samsung Electronics has also equipped this product with its integrated AI platform, 'Vision AI Companion,' which is already available on Samsung TVs and monitors. Vision AI Companion interacts with users, understands their needs, and delivers services through AI. Users can conveniently access the industry's largest selection of AI agents, including enhanced Bixby, Copilot, and Perplexity, on The Freestyle Plus.
