This year, the regular admission competition rate at Dongseo University (President Jang Jeguk) has risen significantly compared to last year.
On January 1, Dongseo University announced that 1,782 applicants competed for 262 spots in the regular admissions process, which closed on December 31, resulting in a competition rate of 6.8 to 1.
Last year, 1,347 applicants competed for 482 spots, resulting in a competition rate of 2.79 to 1.
In Group A, the Department of Business Administration, Department of Advertising and Public Relations, Department of Nursing, and Department of Health Administration all recorded high competition rates of over 9 to 1. In particular, the Department of Exercise Prescription saw the highest competition rate, with 105 applicants for 5 spots, or 21 to 1.
In Group B, the Department of Social Welfare had 53 applicants for 6 spots, or 8.83 to 1. In Group C, the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies had 45 applicants for 3 spots, or 15 to 1, and the Department of Digital Finance had 27 applicants for 3 spots, or 9 to 1.
