This event was organized to welcome the first sunrise of the new year together with citizens and to share the spirit of hope and unity. The celebration began with New Year's greetings and a traditional drum performance, followed by a dynamic Daebuk performance by Salpan. The festivities continued with an elegant stage featuring soprano Jung Chanhee, bass-baritone Kim Hyunggeol, and the Guri City Choir, powerfully ushering in the morning of the new year.
Programs that allowed direct citizen participation received especially positive responses.
